Seed to shelf
High quality CBD begins at the farm—by thoroughly testing the soil and ensuring organic best practices are followed all the way from planting the seed to selling products off the shelf.

Meet the hemp plant
What you see here is called the "cola". A cola is a cluster of buds that grow together on female hemp plants. During trimming, large colas are usually broken up into individual buds, so they can dry and cure more evenly to prevent mold. The cola contains the majority of the hemp plant's oils — these oils contain CBD among other terpenes.
What is CBD?
The hemp plant Hemp is defined as any part of the cannabis sativa plant with no more than 0.3% of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). Our hemp plants are bred to primarily produce CBD, and are not allowed to be fully grown or harvested if they contain above 0.3% THC.

Hemp is extremely sustainable
In terms of sustainability, hemp is the least harmful to the environment. The hemp crop requires little water to grow and replenishes soil nutrients to help improve soil health. It is also biodegradable and can create strong textile fabrics as well as envinromentally-friendly plastics.
